No Country For Old Men

this frame now shows the Characters face who seems to have mystery to him and this frame shows a little bit of smugness to him about what he has just done. It is not clear why he has done this action but may become clearly further into the film.

this frame the shows more about the character in the black, but is not clear why he has attacked the police officer. or what with. the character in the black has a blank facial expression on his face, on the other hand you can see that the police officer is trying to get something from around his neck and that he is choking on it.

this is a mid angle shot, allowing the audience to see all of the characters facial expressions.
you are then able to see where they are and the prop and costumes in this frame.
as the frame continues the figure in the background is blurred the comes into focus. this give the character a little bit of a mystery to him. also his costume being all black shows he maybe an evil character. The mise en scene shows that the two people are situated within a building, possibly the police station. The costume that the guy in the foreground is wearing helps show this as well.

this picture shows the setting around in which the film is set in.
the mountains in the background give the place a sense of mystery, inclosing the setting into a significant space.
just by the setting, you can narrow it down to what type of genre the film maybe, which could be a western.

Sound: There is no sound track or music, but a man speaking giving us a background to what is or has happened.
